Turn the rotary switch for parking brake (Fig.
284) to the "right" (parking brake applied).

Lift the rotor with the lever for "rotor up/down"
(Fig. 285), until the rotor hood is in highest po-
sition.

Hook the safety chains (Fig. 286) by the two
large chain links into the hooks on the rotor
hood.

Lower the rotor to just above the ground by op-
erating the lever ”rotor up/down” (Fig. 287).

Press the tailgate lever (Fig. 288) to the left,
until the tailgate is completely open.

Always secure the hood gate with the bolt
when working on the rotor.
