Engine over-
heating, engine
must be shut
down immedi-
ately
Coolant temperature too high (warning
light for coolant temperature in instrument
cluster for engine/hydraulics lights up).
Clean cooling fins, check coolant level,
check radiator fan
Coolant level too low (coolant level warn-
ing light in instrument cluster for engine/
hydraulics lights up)
Fill up coolant, check radiator hoses,
check radiator, missing or incorrect radia-
tor cap on compensation tank
Incorrect engine oil level
Correct the engine oil level
Dry air filter cartridge soiled (air filter
warning light in instrument cluster for en-
gine/hydraulics lights up)
replace
Insufficient cooling air supply to the cool-
ing fan
Remove any clogging from the cooling air
duct
Too high concentration of anti-freeze and/
or coolant additives
Use correct concentration
Engine has too
low oil pressure,
engine must be
immediately
shut down!
Coolant level too low (engine oil pressure

Top up oil
Leaks in the lubrication system
Check fittings on oil lines, lubrication oil fil-
ter and oil cooler for leaks, if necessary

Change oil and oil filter, use recommend-
ed type of oil

Avoid driving with excessive slanted posi-
tion
Charge control

Generator speed too low
Check the V-belt tension, if necessary re-
place the V-belt
