MPH 122-2
Fig. 86
The parking brake warning light (j) (Fig. 86) in the
instrument cluster for machine functions goes out.
!
Danger
Danger of accident!
Before starting to drive make sure that the
drive range is absolutely safe.
Do not switch the rotor on when driving to
work.
Fig. 87
l
Shift the travel lever (Fig. 87) slowly to the de-
sired travel direction.
Position "I"
= Forward travel
Position "II"
= Backward travel
i
Note
Shift the travel lever out of "0"-position slowly to
forward or reverse, the machine will drive at a
speed which corresponds with the displacement of
the travel lever. Returning the travel lever towards
neutral will brake the machine and in 0-position of
the travel lever the machine will stop.
Notes on travel operation
!
Caution
When changing the travel direction hold the
travel lever for a moment in "0"-position, until
the machine has stopped, before actuating to
the new travel direction.
Do not operate jerkily!
Do not use the engine speed potentiometer to
regulate the travel speed! Control the travel
speed only with the travel lever. During opera-
tion the engine speed potentiometer always re-
mains in full load position.
l
When driving uphill or downhill move the travel
lever slowly back towards neutral to brake the
machine.
i
Note
When lowering the rotor in transport speed ranges
I or II, the machine will automatically change over
to working range.
