Scanning rate (Alt + R). The
Scanning rate
slider can be used to set the
speed at which the DynaWrite scans. When this slider is active, you can
adjust it by using the left and right arrow buttons on your keyboard. Moving
the slider to the right, toward
Fast , will increase the scanning rate. For a
slower scan, move the slider to the left, toward
Slow
.
Hold time (Alt + T). The
Hold time
slider can be used to adjust the length
of time which you must hold down on a switch before a selection is made.
When this slider is active, you can adjust it by using the left and right arrow
buttons on your keyboard. Moving the slider to the right, toward
Long , will
increase the necessary duration of the hold. Moving the slider to the left,
toward
Short , will cause the scanning method to require a quicker hold.
Provide audio feedback (Alt + F). Found in the Auditory Scanning group
box, this check box allows you to specify whether or not your DynaWrite
should give you audible cues during scanning.
Auditory Scanning Controls (Alt + A). Selecting the Auditory Scanning
Controls
button takes you to the
Auditory Scanning Controls
menu, which
provides you with tools for customizing auditory feedback.
