Menu 1.5.1:
Edit Word
The
Edit Word
menu can be accessed by selecting either the
New
or
Edit
buttons in the
Dictionary
menu. To edit an existing dictionary entry, you
must first highlight the word or phrase in the
Dictionary entries
list box.
This menu allows you to create customized dictionary entries for words,
names and multiple-word phrases.
OK (Alt + O).
Selecting the
OK
button accepts any new changes to the
Edit
Word
menu, and returns you to the
Dictionary
menu.
Cancel (Alt + C).
Selecting the
Cancel
button closes the
Edit Word
menu
without saving any changes and then returns you to the
Dictionary
menu.
Word (Alt + W).
If you are creating a new dictionary entry, the
Word
text
box will be empty until you type in your new word or phrase. If you are
editing a dictionary entry, the selected entry will automatically appear in this
box. If you are making a change to the word or phrase itself, type the
change into this text box.
Part of speech (Alt + P).
You may use the
Part of speech
combo box to
assign a part of speech, such as noun, verb or adjective, to a dictionary entry.
When the combo box is active, you may use your up and down arrow keys
to scroll through the options and highlight a selection.
Kind of _ (Alt + K).
You may use this combo box to further define an
item’s part of speech. When the combo box is active, use the up and down
