Carrying Your DynaWrite
Your DynaWrite was shipped with
two different straps. Select the one
you want to use and attach it to the
device. To attach a strap, open the
clip on each end of the strap by
sliding the clip lock back as shown in
Figure 5
. Hook the clips through the
attachment point openings on the
device and slide the clip lock
back into place.
DynaWrite Care and Handling
Your DynaWrite device is easy to clean. With the unit turned off (shut down),
simply wipe the display screen gently with a damp cloth or soft paper towel. You
may want to slightly dampen the towel with a
mild
window cleaner to remove
fingerprints, food particles and dust. It is important, however, to be careful not to
get any liquid near the keyboard.
Do not use tape or stickers on the display screen, keyboard or case, as they are
difficult to remove and may damage the surface. Avoid getting your DynaWrite
unit wet. Never submerge it in water (e.g., dish water). If your unit accidentally
gets wet, be sure to shut it down and allow it to dry thoroughly. After 24 hours, if
you find that it seems to function normally, there is probably no damage. If the
DynaWrite fails to function or behaves abnormally, contact the DynaVox Customer
Support team for instructions. You may need to ship the unit back for repairs.
Be careful not to drop or throw the unit. Such treatment is not recommended and
may shorten the life of the device.
