DynaWrite Reference Guide
The DynaWrite Main Menu
The
Main
menu is the DynaWrite’s highest level menu. To access it, select the
Menu
key on your DynaWrite keyboard. The
Main
menu provides a path to the
other menus you can use to customize the features of your DynaWrite device.
Tools (Alt + T).
The first button in the
Main
menu is the
Tools
button.
Selecting this button brings up the
Tools
menu, which provides utilities to help
you use the varied features of your DynaWrite device, such as the file manager,
reminders, macros, abbreviation expansions, telephone access, the dictionary,
environmental control and digitized speech.
Speech Controls (Alt + P).
The next button is the
Speech Controls
button,
which takes you to the
Speech Controls
menu. The options in this menu can be
used to customize the speaking voice of your DynaWrite device.
Keyboard Controls (Alt + K).
Selecting this button takes you to the
Keyboard
Controls
menu. In this menu, you may select the specific attributes of your
DynaWrite keyboard.
Backup, Restore, Update (Alt + B).
This button takes you to the
Backup,
Restore, Update
menu which offers options for sending DynaWrite backup files to
a computer, restoring files from a computer to your device, and even upgrading
your DynaWrite software.
