Vocabulary Operations

Adding a New Dictionary Entry

Select the

Menu/File

key on your

DynaWrite keyboard.

Select the

Tools

button (Alt + T).

Select the

Dictionary

button

(Alt + D).

Select the

New

button (Alt + N).

Type the new word, phrase or name
into the

Word

text box.

Select the

Part of speech

combo box

(Alt + P) and use the up and down
keys to highlight the correct part of
speech.

You may further specify the specific
word type in the

Kind of _

combo

box (Alt + K).

Additional specifications, if necessary,
can be set in the

Morphological details

group box.

If you are using word prediction
features, increasing the number in the

Frequency

(Alt + F) text box will

cause the item to be predicted more
quickly.

Editing a Dictionary Entry

Select the

DynaWrite keyboard.

find. The entry will be automatically
highlighted in the

Dictionary entries

list box.

Select the

Edit

Make any necessary changes in the

Edit Word

menu. (The contents of the

text box cannot be changed.)
