Menu 1.4: Abbreviation Expansions
Abbreviation expansions help speed your communication process by making
it unnecessary to type out frequently used words, names and phrases. The
Abbreviation Expansions menu allows you to specify abbreviations which,
when typed into the Message Window and followed by a space, will be
automatically expanded by the DynaWrite software into full words or
phrases. This menu also contains options for editing and deleting existing
abbreviation expansions.
As the Abbreviations Expansions menu can also be accessed through the Rate
Controls menu, this menu entry can also be found under Menu 6.1:
Abbreviation Expansions .
Note: Before you can use the abbreviation expansion feature,
you must activate it in the Rate Enhancement Controls menu.
To do that, open the menu and then select the Abbreviation
Expansion check box (Alt + E).

Abbreviation expansions (Alt + A). The Abbreviation expansions list box
contains a list of all saved abbreviation expansions. Once the list box is
selected, you can use the up and down arrow keys on your keyboard to
scroll through the list and highlight items.
