Selection Methods (Alt + M).

The first button in the center row of the

Main

menu is the

Selection Methods

button. Selecting this button will take you the

Selection Methods

menu which allows you to select and customize an appropriate

method for accessing your DynaWrite.

Rate Enhancement Controls (Alt + R).

Selecting this button accesses the

Rate

Enhancement Controls

menu, where you can select features like word prediction

and abbreviation expansions to help you increase your text composition speed.

Text Editing Options (Alt + E).

This button takes you to the

Text Editing

Options

menu, where you can customize the Message Window font features and

select grammar tools.

User Preferences (Alt + U).

The last button in the center row is the

User

Preferences

button. Choosing this button opens a

User Preferences

menu, which

displays the current user settings. This menu also provides tools for saving or
printing a record of the current user preferences.

Help Settings (Alt + N).

The

Help Settings

button is the first button in the last

row. Selecting this button brings up the

Help Settings

menu, which allows you to

customize the appearance and presentation of the system message

and helpful

hints. System messages are presented to update you on device conditions like
low battery states, while helpful hints appear whenever you attempt an operation
that is unavailable.

Input/Output Device Settings (Alt + I).

When this button is selected, it

accesses the

Input/Output Device Settings

menu, which includes options for

selecting ports for input and output and character transfer types.

System Settings (Alt + Y).

Selecting this button accesses the

System Settings

menu. This menu allows you to set DynaWrite hardware options like date, time,
and password protection. This menu also includes a

Battery Level

progress bar

and a report on available memory.

Close (Alt + C).

The final button on the

Main

menu is the

Close

button.

Selecting this button closes the

Main

menu and returns you to the active Message

Window.
