Spelling
button to finish the search for misspelled words. To stop searching, select
the
Stop Spelling
button (or select the
Alt
and
S
keys on your keyboard). This
selection will return you to the active Message Window.
Undo.
Selecting the
Undo
key will negate your last keystroke. When you are
typing text, selecting
Undo
will cut the last character you typed. Selecting
Undo
a
second time will put the character back into place. Keyboard commands are
undone and redone the same way.
VolDn.
Selecting the
VolDn
and
Fn
(Function) keys will incrementally decrease
the volume at which your DynaWrite device speaks.
VolUp.
Selecting the
VolUp
and
Fn
(Function) keys will incrementally increase the
volume at which your DynaWrite device speaks.
Word1-5.
There are five word keys on your keyboard,
Word1
,
Word2
,
Word3
,
Word4
and
Word5
. These keys correspond to the word prediction boxes below
the Message Window. When DynaWrite’s word prediction feature is activated,
DynaWrite will try to anticipate your words as you type. (For more information
about word prediction, refer to the entry for
Menu 6: Rate Enhancement Controls
.)
These anticipated words will appear in the word prediction boxes. For example, if
you type the letters “Th” into the Message Window, DynaWrite may predict that
you want

The

Them
,
Then
, or
This
. These words will be displayed in the
word prediction boxes. You may choose to use one of these predicted words
instead of finishing your typing. To do this, simply select the appropriate word
prediction box. If the word you are seeking is
Then
, and that word is in the fourth
box, select the
Word4
key. The word
Then
will be automatically inserted into your
text.
