Play Sound (Alt + P). Selecting the
Play Sound
button will open a
Select
Sound window where you may use your arrow keys to highlight a sound in
the
Available items
(Alt + A) list box. The
OK
button (Alt + O) will accept
changes and return you to the Edit Reminder menu, where the name of the
selected sound file will appear next to the
Play Sound
button. Selecting the
Cancel button (Alt + C) in the Select Sound window will return you to the
Edit Reminder
menu without saving new changes.
Date (Alt + A). You can schedule a reminder for a specific date with the
Date combo box. Once the combo box is active, use your right and left
arrow keys to highlight the day, month or year. Then, use the up and down
arrow keys to change the highlighted selection.
Invoke Macro (Alt + I). A macro operation can be linked to any reminder.
Choosing the
Invoke Macro
button opens a
Select Macro
window with a list
box of available macros. When the list box is active, use the up and down
arrow keys to highlight the appropriate macro and then select the
OK
button
(Alt + O) to return to the Edit Reminder menu. The name of the selected
reminder will appear next to the
Invoke Macro
button. To close the
Select
Macro window without saving a selection, choose the Cancel button.
Message (Alt + M). The Message text box can be used to record a text
message that will be presented with a DynaWrite reminder. Messages can be
presented as text only, or they may be presented as text and spoken aloud
by the DynaWrite.
Reminder Enabled (Alt + E). Selecting the
Reminder Enabled
check box
will activate the currently highlighted reminder.
Occurrence. The Occurrence group box contains options for reminder
frequency. You may set the reminder to be presented
only once
(Alt + Y),
daily (Alt + D) or weekly (Alt + W). The radio buttons to the left of the
options will illustrate which one is currently selected.
Speak Message (Alt + S). Selecting the
Speak message
check box will cause
the DynaWrite device to automatically speak any text messages that are
presented with reminders.
Power Up Unit (Alt + U). When the
Power up unit
check box is selected,
the DynaWrite device will automatically power up from a shut down or low
power mode to deliver a scheduled reminder.
