Operations during video-phone calls

The following operations can be performed from the submenu during video-phone calls:
・
You can record the other party’s voice with In-call Voice Memo while making a call by holding down
C
for over a second.

INFORMATION

You can make a video-phone call by performing Steps 2 and Step 1 in the reverse order. When

is
pressed and the phone number is pressed, the video-phone call can be made automatically after 5
seconds.

You may not be able to make a call while executing another function.

Please note that the communication charges are based on the rate for digital communication rather than
the voice calls even if the substitute image or Chara-den is used.
●
While using video-phone, dialing operation to a voice call can not be performed. Also, “Unable to call.” is
displayed.
●
If a video-phone call attempt fails, the following message (text information) will be displayed on the
screen. The display returns to the stand-by display automatically. Note that displayed messages may not
reflect the status on the other party correctly, depending on the type of the terminal and/or conditions of
the network service contract of the other party.

Check the number and retry
You dialed the phone number not used.
Busy
The other party is busy or during packet communication.
Disconnected due to outside of
service/power off
The other party is outside the service area or the other
party’s phone terminal is turned OFF.
Driving mode
The phone of the other party is in Driving Mode.
Select on for Call ID Notification
This message is displayed in case connecting without
notifying the caller ID (when accessing to the V live or visual
site).
Failed to connect
Set Caller ID Notification “Notify” and dial again.

The message may be also displayed for cases other than
the above.
