Shooting continuously [ Continuous Mode ]
Still images can be shot continuously. Continuous shooting can be done in two modes: “Auto” for
continuously and automatically shooting images of the set number and “Manual” for continuously and
manually shooting them.

Up to 6 images can be shot continuously.

The number of images to be continuously shot can be set in “Continuous shot photos” in Still Image
Setting.

Continuous shooting is not available when the image size is 96 x 72 (phonebook), 640 x 480 (VGA
LANDSCAPE), 480 x 640 (VGA PORTRAIT), 960 x 1280 (SXGA), 1200 x 1600 (UXGA) or 1224 x
1632 (2M) or when Camera has been activated from the phonebook or i-

ppli software. Note,
however, that continuous shooting is enabled for some types of software.

If you shoot with Auto Focus even though the camera cannot focus in because of the distance from the
shooting object, images will be shot at the best condition according to the shooting mode.

If shot with Auto Focus during continuous shooting, the rest of the images is shot with the focus in on the
first image. During manual continuous shooting, you can focus using Auto Focus each time you shoot.

In the following cases, the camera may not be automatically focused using Auto Focus:
