PIM Lock
Preventing display of phonebook or Scheduler
When PIM Lock is set, the following functions are locked to prevent the display of and tampering
with private information:

This function cannot be set when Reject Non-Reg. Caller is set to “ON”.
･
When PIM Lock is ON, the previous redial data and received call history are deleted. A call or the
redial data after setting or call from the received call history stored after setting can be made.

The following functions and some settings become unavailable.
* Message is received but the receiving screen, the icon for the received mail or the reception result
screen is not displayed.
･
If the menu is displayed, function menus not available are grayed-out or is indicated not to select them.
･
The caller’s name is not displayed on the screen even if a call is received from a caller registered in the
phonebook. is not displayed on the stand-by display even when Answer Machine is set because
Answer machine does not operate. An icon for a recorded message, which has not been played, is also
not displayed.

INFORMATION
● When the data for PIM Lock has been set as the stand-by display or ring tone, the default setting
becomes active while PIM Lock is activated. The setting you made is restored when PIM Lock is
canceled. When data saved in “Preinstalled” folder is set, however, the setting does not change even if
PIM is locked.
● When PIM Lock is set, the alert tone or vibrator does not notify that the number of voice messages of
Voice Mail Service is increased.
● You cannot set/cancel PIM Lock from an external device with AT commands.
