Displaying history when Auto Start of software fails [ Start Failure History ]
When automatic start of the software fails, name of the software, date and time, causes are recorded.

Latest 20 start failure histories are recorded.
･
When you display start failure histories or when the next auto start is successful, on the stand-by
display disappears.

Starting software from a site or mail
The software starts when link item to activate software contained in a site or i-mode Mail is
selected (i-
α ppli To).

The software you want to start must have previously been stored in FOMA terminal. Note that some
software starts just after downloaded from sites even when it is not stored in FOMA terminal.

Select a link item enabled to start software from a site or i-mode Mail.

Select “Yes”.
The connection to site is terminated and software is started.

Even when Auto Start is set, the software is not started if the time of activation arrives in one of the
following situations. If the software is not started for the reason other than the ones marked with

of
those shown below, is indicated on the stand-by display and the name of the software, the date and
time and the reason for the start failure are recorded in Start Failure History.

When FOMA terminal power is OFF*

UIM operation is restricted
･
When UIM cannot be detected
･
When Auto Start is “OFF”*

When the interval of auto start is too short
･
During a talk or communication
･
When screen other than the stand-by display is displayed or i- α ppli stand-by display operation is in
progress
･
When other function is running (except when displaying the My Picture list and merging frames,
displaying the i-motion list and playing/editing i-motion, and displaying the Melody list and playing
melodies)
･
In All Lock or PIM Lock
･
When Privacy Mode is activated (while i- α ppli is set to “Authorized access”)
･
During a Schedule alarm or when the time of Alarm Clock has come (including when the set time is the
same as the setting for Auto Start)

When the software usage is stopped by i- α ppli control

When you specify to start two or more applications automatically at the same date and time, the start
failure history of failed software is recorded, but is not displayed on the stand-by display.
●
When only start time before the date and time of FOMA terminal has been set, Auto Start is turned OFF.
