When a video-phone call is forwarded, the message “Your call is being forwarded.” is displayed.
●
Video-phone via 32K line is intended for connection with devices such as PHS with which video-phone
calls via 64K line may not be available depending on the network condition. When a video-phone call is
made via 64K line, the call type is automatically switched to via 32K for redialing if the communication
environment of the other party is found to be 32K. When “ON” is set for Voice call auto switch, redialing
via 32K line is also given priority.
Note: If a call is made via 32K line, the charge is the same as the digital communication charge via 64K.
●
If a video-phone call is made and is not established, redialing is automatically performed as described
below.
●
If you pre-register the communication speed (64K or 32K) in the phonebook, you can change the
communication speed depending on the other party you are making a call.
☛
P122
●
If you specify the data rate from Customized call in the submenu after entering phone number to make a
call, the specification for Customized Call is effective. If nothing has been specified for the data rate, 64K
connection is attempted.
●
When “ON” is set for Voice call auto switch, the call type is automatically switched to voice call for
redialing if the other party’s terminal does not support the video-phone function or uses the mova service
through the Dual Network Service, hence, making the more certain connection to the other party.
Note: If you redial as a voice call, the charge is placed as a voice call.
●
If the video-phone call is made to 110, 119 or 118 when Voice call auto switch is set to “ON”, the video-
phone call automatically switches to a voice call.
●
New voice or video-phone calls cannot be made during video-phone calls. i-mode connection, i-mode Mail,
Message R/F or Short Message (SMS) exchange is not available.
●
A video-phone call is not available to the phones not supporting the video-phone function, or to the
phones without power or located outside the service area. If you set the Voice call auto switch function to
“ON” and attempt to make a video-phone call with an unsupported device, the other party will abort the
communications before connected. For this case, voice call redialing will automatically begin. The
redialing function cannot work as written above if you attempt the video-phone calls with inapplicable
conditions such as at ISDN-sync 64kbps or via PIAFS access points, with ISDN video-phones
incompatible with 3G-324M (
☛
P82) (as of December, 2004), or dialing the wrong phone number. Note
that some calls may require the call charge.
●
You can switch Show caller ID/Hide caller ID when making a video-phone call.
☛
P56
●
If a pause or timed pause is entered (
☛
P52), dialing before the pause and the timed pause is made and
all the phone numbers dialed after the pause or timed pause are ignored.
●
While you are dialing or redialing video-phone call, incoming calls will abort the dialing and ring tone may
sound.
●
Incoming calls during a video-phone call.

●
Even if sending/receiving the voice or image is aborted and
(only voice) or
(only image) is
displayed during a video-phone call, the call may be continued as it is.
●
If the radio wave conditions are poor during a video-phone call, the image may be displayed as mosaic.
