Making FOMA terminal silent
Sounds from FOMA terminal can be disabled in order to prevent disturbance to the people
around you by enabling vibrator for incoming calls or muting the keypad sound.

The arrival of a call is notified with vibrator by muting all sounds heard from FOMA terminal such as ring tone,
keypad sound and alarm sound. Microphone is sensitized so that a call can be made in a small voice.

The operations of the multi-indicator and the vibrator when Alarm Clock is ON is as set in Alarm Clock.

When setting the schedules, the multi-indicator operates by a vibrator in Silent Mode according to the
schedule settings in Illumination Setting.
●
Melodies are not played even if received messages or Message R/F are displayed with “Auto play” set for
Message Attachment.
●
When starting play-back of video/i-motion or melody, a confirmation screen is displayed asking whether
you want to play it back.
Silent Mode that is specified in the Silent Mode selection is activated and
(in Silent Mode) or
(in Customize Silent Mode) is displayed on the
stand-by display.

When Key Lock is ON, Silent Mode cannot be set or released by holding
