Enter the PIN1 code.
When FOMA terminal is powered on, the PIN1 code entry screen is displayed. After entering the
correct PIN1 code, the stand-by display appears.

Making/receiving calls and operating the communication functions are unavailable if a wrong PIN1
code is entered.

If a wrong PIN1 code is entered 3 times consecutively, the PIN1 code is locked. Press

to display
the PUK (PIN Unblocking Key) entry screen.

When PIN1 Code ON/OFF is set “ON”
INFORMATION
● The settings of the PIN1 and PIN2 codes and PIN1 code ON/OFF are stored in the UIM. When using the
current UIM to FOMA terminal you newly purchased, the settings of the PIN1 and PIN2 code and PIN1
code ON/OFF that you set previously can be used likewise. If no changes have been made to the PIN1
and PIN2 codes, your codes are “0000”.

If Alarm Auto Power ON has been set to “ON”, the alarm alert sounds before displaying PIN1 code entry
screen when the power is turned ON at the set time for the alarm and the schedule alarm. When pressing
f
to end the alarm sound, the PIN1 code entry screen is displayed.
At this time, the alarm sounds by the preinstalled melody (“ アラーム・アナログ時計 ” (Alarm ・ analog
clock) is for Alarm Clock, “ アラーム・女性ボイス ” (Alarm ・ Female voice) is for the schedule alarm)
even when the downloaded melody or i-motion is set for the alarm.
PIN1 Code ON is set.

The PIN1 code is set to “0000” when subscribed.
