Insert the other end of the FOMA USB
connection cable into the PC USB connector.

When PC and FOMA terminal are connected in
communication mode,
appears on the
display of FOMA terminal.
･
If you connect FOMA terminal to PC in
communication mode before installing a
communication configuration file, WINDOWS may
automatically detect that a FOMA USB connection
cable has been inserted, and the wizard screen
will be displayed. In that case, remove FOMA
terminal and click “Cancel” to exit the wizard.

Removing FOMA USB connection cable
Press release button on both sides of the
connector of FOMA terminal. Pull the
connector out from the PC.

Connecting while charging
FOMA terminal can be connected using a
desktop holder (optional) during the charging.
However, charging time becomes longer.

Connect desktop holder with AC adapter.

Insert the AC adapter in an outlet.

Connect FOMA terminal and FOMA USB
connection cable.

Place desktop holder shown in the figure,
and insert FOMA terminal to desktop holder.
Installing communication
configuration file (driver)
Install the communication configuration file on a
PC before connecting FOMA terminal to PC to
perform communication in the communication
mode.

When FOMA terminal is connected with PC in
miniSD mode, installation of the communication
configuration file is not required.

Installing the software under
Windows XP

The screen differs under OS other than
Windows XP.
1 Insert the attached CD-ROM into the PC.

Make sure to connect FOMA terminal to the
PC after performing the Steps from 1 to 3.
2 Click “ スタート (Start)” menu and
click “ ファイル名を指定して実行
(Run)”. Enter “<CD-ROM drive>: ￥
USBDRIVE ￥ D901iin.exe” in “ 名前
(Name)” and click “OK”.

Do not remove the USB connection cable
during data communication.
●
To perform data communication while
charging your FOMA terminal using desktop
holder, close your FOMA terminal. Do not
open FOMA terminal or expose FOMA
terminal and the desktop holder to shock. The
shock may cause disruption of charging or
data communication, malfunction or loss of
data if FOMA terminal is slipped from the
desktop holder.
●
When charging FOMA terminal is started
during data communication, the charging may
not be completed. To ensure completion of
recharging, it is recommended that recharging
be started after data communication has
completed.
