Group Setting
Setting group names and incoming/outgoing actions
You can change Group name of the FOMA terminal phonebook or UIM phonebook and set ring
tone by Group.
･ In the FOMA terminal settings by group of the UIM phonebook, only the group name can be modified.

●
For saving mail addresses of i-mode terminals, the @ and the following domain name
(“@docomo.ne.jp”) of the addresses can be omitted, however, it is recommended to save the whole
addresses including “@docomo.ne.jp”. For saving mail addresses of i-mode terminals as chat members,
save the whole addresses including “@docomo.ne.jp”.

Even if the names and phone numbers are registered, the setting can be made to hide names or phone
numbers when received a call and to change the name size.

You can enter up to 10 two-byte or 20 one-byte characters for group
names in the FOMA terminal phonebook.

You can enter up to 10 two-byte or 21 one-byte characters for group
names in the UIM phonebook. Note that up to 10 characters can be
registered when both one- and two-byte characters or one-byte
katakana are used.
