Stand-by Display
Changing the stand-by display
The image displayed on the stand-by display be changed with another image, i-motion, Chara-
den or calendar. The i-
α ppli stand-by display, clock or various information display (custom
stand-by display) can be set.

Depending on an image, video/i-motion, Chara-den or i-
α
ppli setting for the stand-by display may be
disabled if you do not insert the same UIM as used in downloading the program.
･
During “All lock” is ON, PIM Lock is ON (when the data which is subject to PIM Lock is set to the stand-
by display), the set for the stand-by display screen is canceled and the image of the default setting is
displayed. The set stand-by image reappears when lock is canceled. However, if the image in the
“Preinstalled” folder is set, the set stand-by display is not changed even when PIM Lock is ON.

Setting image/video/i-motion/Chara-den as a stand-by display
The image/i-motion/Chara-den saved from a i-mode site or mail or still image or video shot with FOMA
terminal can be set as the stand-by display. Animations, Create animation and continuous shots can be
also set.

When “Direct input” is selected, enter the number corresponding to the action.

When “OFF” is set, the action of Chara-den is played according to the action setting of the
higher priority item. If the actions of all items are set to “OFF”, the action preset for Chara-
den is played repeatedly.

Select an interval (1 to 5 seconds) to repeat the action from Interval field.

When “OFF” is set, the selected action of Chara-den is played only the first time.
