Selecting functions from menu
Selecting functions
There are two ways to select functions. The first method involves using the dial keys corresponding to
menu items. In the other method, use the Easy Selector Plus to select from among menu items.
･ When any lock function is set or the UIM is not inserted, some functions are disabled. The disabled
functions are indicated by or dimmed, and cannot be selected.
Each menu item has a number (item number) and can be selected by pressing the corresponding key
(

to
9
). The item position for each key is shown as follows:
In this manual, the operation procedure is mainly explained in this method.
INFORMATION
● Note that the following cases may occur due to the characteristics of liquid crystal display (LCD) and they
are not defects in FOMA terminal.

FOMA terminal display is manufactured by taking advantage of highly advanced technology but some
dots may be always or never lit.
･
When the battery pack is removed from FOMA terminal with the power turned on, residual images may
remain for some time. Remove the battery pack with the power turned off.
･
When a screen is changed to another screen after being displayed for a certain time with some
operations performed, residual images of the previous screen may remain.
Selecting menu items with dial keys (Shortcut operations)
Example
When a list extends to multiple pages, the number of the currently
displayed page and the total number of pages are displayed.

at the cursor.
