Entering characters using input predict
function
FOMA terminal is provided with the input prediction
function displaying a list of predict conversion
options that match the initial part of the reading, from
which you can select the desired characters when
characters are entered.
Predict conversion function automatically registers
previously entered characters as predict dictionary
data; you can easily enter the same characters next
time, quickly by entering only the first part.
・
The following words and character strings are
displayed as options:
・
Standard words
・
Words entered for kana-kanji conversion
・
Character strings registered as words
・
Only the hiragana/kanji mode can be used in
predict conversion. However, predict conversion
is not available in the following cases:
・
During in-line entry (direct insertion of text into
entry fields)
・
Slot Input Method
・
You can also set not to display the predict
conversion options.

The options are gradually narrowed down as
more characters are entered.

While the cursor is placed in predict
conversion options, the following operations

When there are no appropriate words, press

to convert text to kana-kanji conversion and
predict conversion options vanish.

Entering fixed phrases
Fixed phrases entered from lists.
・
The selected phrase is inserted at the cursor
position.
