Installing the System
Lower Conveyor Height Configuration Option
The lower height configuration allows the SE500
ULTRA
conveyor to be positioned to a minimum
height of 86 cm (34 inch). It is still adjustable to a maximum height of 96 cm (38 inch).
To adjust the height when the system is in the lowest height configuration, you will need to
remove the side panels (see Figure 14 below). If the system is already in position in the line with
no access to the side panels, remove the front panel from the electronics area and the right panel
(vertical) from the control panel area (see Figure 15 on page 30).

To remove side panels
1. Loosen the two M5 x 8 screws along the top edge of the panel using a 3 mm allen wrench.
2. Lift the upperside panel off the machine.
3. Grasp the lower panel underneath the top edge and lift it up and off the mounting screws.

To achieve the lowest conveyor height configuration of 83 cm to 96 cm (33 inch to 38 inch),
a customized conversion kit is needed. Contact CyberOptics for more information.
