Gantry Components
This section contains procedures for replacing and maintenance of the following gantry
components:

Replacing the Gantry Forcer
Use this procedure to replace the forcer on the left or right side of the gantry. This procedure can
be performed with access to the left/right of the machine in production line. This section shows
the procedure performed when the machine is not in production line.

– 1.4 mm spacer
– Threadlock Sealant
Caution:
Turn the AC main circuit breaker to OFF to shut down all electrical power to the
SE500
ULTRA
unit before replacing any parts or components. For more information, refer to the
section “ Shutting Down the System ” on page 52.

Note: For Parts Replacement, contact CyberOptics for part numbers.
Caution:
Remove the stator first before replacing the forcer. Since the stator has a very strong
magnetic attractive force. For safety reasons, place each stator in an ironless container separately.
