Instead of entering a class of service, you can instead enter a class number to select a pre-configured
template, for example, class 4 for ntr-VBR, and class 3 for rt-VBR. You can modify the class of service
templates as required by using the
cnfcls and cnfatmcls commands and displaying them by using the
dspcls and dspatmcls commands.
Note For a new node running 9.2.20 or later, the rt-VBR connection class number is 3. An upgraded node
will retain existing connection classes. Therefore, it will not have the rt-VBR connection class 3.
However, you can configure the connection classes to any service and parameters you want by using
the
cnfcls and cnfatmcls commands.
An example of a cnfcls and cnfatmcls commands and response is shown in the following example:
