Save the file to a place where you will remember it. This is a large file, so it may take 
some time to download. 

Install Desktop Manager 

Locate and double-click the installation file that you downloaded. It will usually be in 

your Downloads folder, unless you changed the default, and will probably look 

something like Figure 2-2.

What the file looks like will depend on your View in Windows Explorer (for example, 
Small Icons, Large Icons, List, or Details).  The first few numbers in the file name 

correspond to the version of Desktop Manager; in this figure, it is 501 for version 5.0.1. 

After you double-click the install file, then follow the directions to complete the 
installation. Choose Integrate with a personal email account unless your BlackBerry is 

tied to a BlackBerry Enterprise.
