CHAPTER 8: Personalize Your BlackBerry

More Standard BlackBerry Themes: Most of the standard Themes shown below are 

preinstalled on every BlackBerry.  

Glide and click on the Options icon on your BlackBerry. You may have to press the 

Menu key to see all your icons and then locate the Options icon. Or, if you have Home 

screen hotkeys enabled, just tap the letter O (see page 541).

In Options, scroll down to Theme 
and click.  

TIP:

 Press the letter T to jump to the first 

entry starting with T, which should be Theme. 

2.

 

On the Theme screen, just glide and 
click on the Theme you want to 
make active. Your currently selected 
Theme is shown with the word 
(Active) next to it.  

3.

 

Press the Escape key to get back to 
the Home screen to check out your 
new theme.  

Precision Silver Theme  

This is like the Zen theme with just six icons 

on the main Home screen; however, all 
icons are a gray monotone. Unless your 

BlackBerry provider has specifically 

removed these Themes, they should be 
available on your BlackBerry.
