Logging In to LinkedIn  

Once the App is installed, click the 

LinkedIn icon, and enter your login 
information. 

NOTE

: We do recommend first setting 

up your LinkedIn account on your 

computer prior to installing the 

LinkedIn app as it is easier to type 

more quickly on your computer as 

you set up your LindedIn profile and 

add your picture. 

Navigating the LinkedIn App 

LinkedIn has a similar icon-based 

navigation as Facebook.  The top of 

the home screen has a box for 
posting your profile update, which 

similar to a status update on 

Facebook. 

Just type your message, and click 

the Post button. 

 

 

The LinkedIn Icons 

There are six icons at the top of the LinkedIn home screen (Home Page, Search, 
Connections, Invitation, Messages, and Reconnect), each of which is described in the 

following sections.  

The Home Page Icon 

The Home Page icon will return you to 

the page with profile updates where 

you can update your own LinkedIn
