Categorizing Your Tasks
Like Address Book entries, you can group your tasks into Categories. And you can also
share or synchronize these categories with your computer.
To Assign a Task to a Category
1.
Highlight the Task, click the trackpad and Open it.
2.
Press the Menu key and select Categories (Figure 16-2).

Select as many categories as you would like by checking them with the
trackpad or pressing the Space key.
4.
You may even add new categories by pressing the Menu key and
selecting New.
5.
Once you’re done, press the Menu key and select Save to save your
Category settings.
6.
Press the Menu key and select Save again to save your task.
Filtering Tasks
Once you assign tasks to categories, you can filter or show only those tasks assigned to
a particular category.
1.
To do this, view your Task list and press the
Menu key.
2.
Select Filter.
3.
Check off a particular category for the filter
by tapping the Space key on the
appropriate check box.
