The BlackBerry generates a message
stating: ‘‘(Name) would like to add
you to his/her BlackBerry
Messenger.’’ Click Send and the
message is sent to this person.
4.
The Message request shows up in your
Pending group, under Contacts.

The contact will be listed under Pending
until the recipient responds to your
invitation.
If you do not get a response, then click on their name
and use another communications method (e.g. Phone,
Email, SMS Text) to ask your colleague to hurry up.
Joining a Fellow User’s BlackBerry Messenger Group
You may be invited to join another BlackBerry user’s Messaging group. You can either
Accept or Decline this invitation.
You will receive your invitations via email or you can see them directly in BlackBerry
Messenger.

Click on your BlackBerry Messenger icon.
2.
Scroll to your Requests group and highlight the invitation and click.
