3D Effects

■

Selecting As Lines causes AutoSketch to draw the extrusion as a group of 
individual lines, creating a more open appearance than As Polygons. This 
option can be useful if you plan to further edit the extrusion entity.

■

Selecting As Polygons causes AutoSketch to draw the extrusion as a group 
of polygons. This allows you to apply solid fill.

To change the way extrusion entities are rendered

Click the 3D Effects button on the Standard toolbar. The 3D Effects toolbar 
appears.

Click the 3D Effects Options button on the 3D Effects toolbar. The 
3D Effects Options dialog box appears.

In the Render section, click either Wireframe or Hidden Line. 

4

In the Render section, click either As Lines or As Polygons.

5

Click OK.
