Arcs & Circles
To draw an ellipse by entering three points

On the Draw menu, click Circle, Ellipse Axes, or click the Ellipse Axes
button on the All-In-One toolbar.

Click a point. A rubber-band line appears beginning at the entered point.

Click another point to determine the length of the major axis. A rubber-
band ellipse follows the axis movement of the pointer.

(optional) Press and hold CTRL to slant the ellipse.

Click a third point to complete the ellipse.
To draw an elliptical arc that fills a rectangle

On the Draw menu, click Arc, Elliptical Rectangle, or click the Elliptical
Arc Rectangle button on the All-In-One toolbar.

Click a point that defines one corner of the rectangle. A rubber-band
rectangle follows the movement of the pointer.

Click a point that defines the diagonal corner of the rectangle. A rubber-
band line appears from the ellipse’s centerpoint and follows the pointer,
letting you define the start and end angles.

Click the start angle. Notice the start angle appears on the edit bar.
5
Click the end angle of the elliptical arc.
