Modbus Input Registers
All measurement values are two's complement numbers.
6.15.1. Slave Address
Holding register 1 contains the LeveLine's slave address, which is a value in the range 1-
247. It's factory default value is 1. NOTE: If a command writes a new value to holding
register 1, the slave address contained in the response to the command will be the original
slave address, not the new one.
6.15.2. Modbus Mode
Holding register 2 can be set to select between Modbus RTU and ASCII modes of
communication. Its factory default value is 0 (RTU mode). Note that if this register is set to
a new value, the change in communication mode will occur after the response has been
transmitted.
6.15.3. Serial Communication Speed
Holding register 3 can be set to select the communication baud rate. Its factory default
value is 19200, and other valid values are 1200, 2400, 4800, 9600, 38400 and 57600. Note
that if this register is set to a new value, the change in communication speed will occur after
the response has been transmitted.
