After successful setup of the event logging, the  'ACTION SUCCESSFUL' message will be
displayed. Use the [ESC] key to leave this page after transfer. 
  

4.11.5. Probe Deployment Position Setup

Probe deployment position setup using the Meter is intended for use on-site at the actual
point of deployment.

Deployment position setup is achieved by sending the Logger the current live GPS position
and altitude directly from the Meter. Obviously, in order to achieve this, the Meter must
have a current 3D fix. See section 

4.8

 for further details of GPS reception.

To setup the deployment position, press the  

MENU

  key to get to the Main Menu, then

choose 

Probe Deployment

 followed by 

Set ID & Position.

The Set ID & Position screen will be displayed. 

 Set ID & Position

  View/Sync Position

Move the pointer down to 'View/Sync Position' and press the right arrow key or [OK]. The
Probe's position screen will be displayed.

To transfer the current GPS position and altitude to the Probe, press the [OK] key.

After successful transfer of the current position, the  'ACTION SUCCESSFUL' message will
be displayed. Use the [ESC] key to leave this page after transfer. If you press the [ESC] key
before pressing [OK], the position will not be transferred to the Logger.

4.11.6. Logging Start and Duration Setup

The  LeveLine

®

  Loggers can then be set up to start logging data automatically at a pre-

determined time for a set duration, or they can be set up for manual deployment.

To setup the logging start time and duration, press the 

MENU

 key to get to the Main Menu,

then choose 

Probe Deployment

 followed by 

Start & Duration.

 The Set Start and Duration

screen will be displayed.
