6.5.2. Address Query
This command allows the data recorder to obtain a sensor's device address. It must only be
issued when there is just one sensor attached to the bus, otherwise all sensors will
respond, causing bus contention.

This command allows the data recorder to assign a new device address to the LeveLine

This command allows the data recorder to retrieve some basic information about the
LeveLine

<sdi-ver> is the version of the supported SDI-12 standard (“13” for version 1.3).
•
<vendor-id> is an 8-character vendor identification string (“AQUAREAD”).
•
<model-id> is a 6-character device identification string (see note below).
•
<firmware-ver> is a 3-digit LeveLine
®
firmware version string (e.g. “100” for v1.00).
•
<serial-nr> is the LeveLine's serial number string (8 characters).

Probe the <model id> is (“LVLINE”).

For the LeveLine - CTD
®
Probe the <model id> is (“LL-CTD”).

For the standard LeveLine

Mini Probe the <model id> is (“LLMINI”).

Mini - CTD Probe the <model id> is (“LLMCTD”).
6.5.5. Start Measurement
This command tells the LeveLine
®
to start making a measurement.

<time> is the time in seconds (three digits) until the measurement will be ready. The
LeveLine

always places a value of “001” in this field.

<nr-values> is a single digit specifying the number of measurements that will be
returned by subsequent Send Data commands. The LeveLine
®
always places a
value of “2” in this field.
