For optimum performance, factory re-calibration is recommended every 12-18 months. 

1.5.2. Re-calibration of the Electrical Conductivity Cell

The electrical conductivity (EC) cell on the -CTD versions can be user calibrated at any
time and at any value between 100µS/cm and 99,999µS/cm.

Re-calibration of the EC Cell can be carried out by using either the LeveLink
