Product description
Symbols are stamped on the machine for safe
operation and maintenance. It is important that
you heed these notes.
Symbol Meaning
Connection for refilling the fuel mix-
ture
Location : at the tank lid
Connection for refilling the chain oil
Location : at the oil tank cap
Press the engine switch; set the
switch to the "O" position – the en-
gine will be switched off immediate-
ly.
Location : On the left side of the
rear handle
Operating the air flap button: If you
pull out the button, the air flap clos-
es; if the air flap closes, press in the
button to open the air flap again.
Location : Air filter cover
Setting the oil pump: Using a screw-
driver, turn the rod in the direction
of the arrow until the MAX position
is reached for a stronger flow of
chain oil, or towards the MIN posi-
tion for a reduced flow of chain oil.
Location : Bottom of the drive unit
The screw under the "H" mark is
used to adjust the mixture at high
speed.
Location : On the top left side of the
rear handle
The screw under the "L" mark is
used to adjust the mixture at low
speed.
Location : On the top left side of the
rear handle
The screw above the “T” mark
serves to adjust the idle speed.
Location : On the top left side of the
rear handle
Indicates the direction in which the
chain brake is released (white ar-
row) or depressed (black arrow).
Location : Front side of the guide
rail
Symbol Meaning
Indicates the direction in which the
chain is mounted.
Location : Front side of the guide
