7 - MAINTENANCE
Every 250 hours
Change engine oil and filter
Refer to the Cummins Engine Operation and Mainte-
nance Manual for all engine maintenance procedures
and maintenance schedules not covered in this man-
ual.
Change the engine oil and filter as described in the
Cummins Engine Operation and Maintenance Manual.
Drain the engine oil using the drain valve on the feed
table side of the engine.
The engine oil filter (1) is located on the tunnel side of
the engine. Access the filter from the underside of the
engine.

Use NEW HOLLAND AMBRA MASTERGOLD™ EN-
GINE OIL CJ-4 SAE 15W-40 and fill as follows: Low
level on dipstick= 38 L ( 10 US gal ) High level on dip-
stick= 45 L ( 12 US gal ).
The crankcase fill cap (1) is located on the feed table
side of the engine between the engine and the feed
table. The dipstick
(2) is mounted on the feed table side
of the engine. Fill to high mark on dipstick.
