5 - TRANSPORT OPERATIONS
Transport lock
The transport lock is only required when towing the bag-
ger with a tow vehicle.
1. If transporting with a tow vehicle, the engine end
wheels have to be locked in the straight front to back
position.
2. The lock

is located next to the engine end wheel
on the feed table side.
3. Remove the retaining pin
(2)
and clip
(3)
. Allow the
lock to swing down into the notch
(4)
on the wheel
column.
4. Reinstall the retaining pin
(2)
and clip
(3)
in the lower
hole to secure the lock in the transport
(5)
position.
5. When not using the transport lock, remove the pin
(2)
and clip
(3)
, raise the lock up
(6)
away from the wheel
column and re-insert the pin in the upper hole under
the lock to hold it up. Clip in place.

Pintle hitch
For transporting with a tow vehicle the tow hitch and hitch
brace have to be secured to the cab end of the bagger.
This hitch is only required when transporting the bagger
with a tow vehicle.
1. Remove the clip and retainer pin
(1)
holding the hitch
(2)
in the storage tube
(3)
on the bagger.
2. Pull the hitch
(2)
out of the storage tube
(3)
and place
into the transport tube
(4)
.
3. Insert the retainer pin
(1)
and clip to secure the hitch
in the transport tube.
