Emprise 7000 Installation and Service Guide 64

Status Reporting

The Emprise 7000 provides several ways for you to obtain information about the system: the
ICON Manager Event Log, the ICON Manager Physical View, and status LEDs on the Emprise
7000 hardware. You also can use the ISE’s CLI for status reporting of the ISE.

ICON Manager Physical View

Open the Physical View in ICON Manager to see the status of controllers, power supplies, fans,
buffer battery, and DataPacs. If there is an issue, there is a warning or error symbol next to the
Physical View node in the left pane and next to the component in the center pane.

In the Physical View, click the component for which you want to display status information.
