Chapter 3: Cabling the
Emprise 7000

This chapter describes how to connect the power cords, fiber cables, and Ethernet cables.

Caution:

To reduce the risk of Electrostatic Discharge (ESD), wear a grounded wrist
strap while performing these procedures. Put on the anti-static wrist strap and
attach it to a grounded surface such as the exposed metal surface of the
chassis or the rack enclosure. Keep the wrist strap on for the remainder of this
procedure.
