Chapter 5: Servicing the
Emprise 7000
This chapter tells you how to replace components of the Emprise 7000 and also how to use the
ISE’s CLI to maintain the ISE (restarting, shutting down, and upgrading ISE firmware).
Most components of the Xiotech Emprise 7000 system are field-serviceable and replaceable.
The Emprise also contains several redundant components to ensure that it stays operational.
Most of these redundant components are hot-replaceable, which means that they can be
replaced while the system remains operational.
Warning:
You must be certified by Xiotech to service the Emprise system. If you are not
certified, contact Xiotech Customer Service at 1.800.734.4716 for a list of
engineers in your area who have been certified by Xiotech. Alternatively, see
