Powering Up the Servers and Zoning Them

1. Power up the servers that are attached to the Emprise system.

2. Configure the HBAs in the servers. See the Support Matrix at

http://support.xiotech.com to make sure that you use the latest bios, driver, HBA setting, and
registry settings when applicable.

3. We recommend zoning the servers now to enable the Emprise system to see them during

Emprise configuration. For information about zoning the system, see “Zoning for Failover” in
the Appendix of the ICON Manager Guide.
