Emprise 7000 Installation and Service Guide 24

Installing DataPacs

The ISE ships with two DataPacs or one DataPac and one DataPac filler. Always install the
DataPac Filler in the bay to the right of the batteries.

1. Unpack a DataPac.

2. Fully extend the red latch.

3. Insert the DataPac gently into the left bay at the front of the ISE shelf.

4. When the DataPac is firmly in place, close the red latch to secure the DataPac.

5. Tighten the latch handle screws finger tight, being careful not to overtighten them.

6. Repeat these steps for the other DataPac or DataPac filler.

Installing Batteries

1. Unpack a battery unit.

2. Fully extend the red latch.

3. Insert the battery gently into the front of the ISE shelf.

4. When the battery is firmly in place, close the red latch to secure the battery unit.

5. Tighten the latch handle screws finger tight, being careful not to overtighten them.

6. Repeat these steps for the other battery.

Note:

If the DataPac captive screws are not tightened, an error message appears in
ICON manager.
