[When gear position is 1st, 2nd or 3rd gear]
The following condition is detected for one minute 
continuously in the period between ignition switch ON
and OFF.

No pulse signal out of output shaft speed sensor is
inputted although 20 pulses out of input shaft speed
sensor are inputted.

D

Transmission range sensor signal is detected as “D”,
“2” or “L” range.
and

D

Vehicle speed is more than 5 km / h (3 mile).

[When gear position is 4th gear]

D

Detected (calculated) output shaft revolution is 
0 rpm and 1500 rpm or more less than last detected
(calculated) revolution.
and

D

Transmission range sensor signal is detected as “D”,
“2” or “L” range.

Vehicle speed is more than 5 km / h (3 mile).
