ENGINE AND EMISSION CONTROL SYSTEM (RHZ ENGINE)

BOOST PRESSURE REGULATOR SOLENOID VALVE

REMOVAL

1) Disconnect negative cable at battery.
2) Remove air cleaner outlet hose.
3) Disconnect connector from boost pressure regulator solenoid

valve (1).

4) Disconnect vacuum hoses from boost pressure regulator sole-

noid valve.

5) Remove boost pressure regulator solenoid valve from bracket.

INSPECTION

Measure resistance between each two terminals.
If resistance is out of specification, replace boost pressure regula-
tor solenoid valve.

Boost pressure regulator solenoid valve resistance: 15 – 20 

Ω

INSTALLATION

For installation, reverse removal procedure.
