Selecting the menu item "I/Q Out Settings" opens a dialog with the parameters for the
I/Q output signal.
The "I/Q Out" Settings dialog is available for analog and digital I/Q output signals.
These dialogs are accessable under the menu sections with the corresponging names.
5.7.3.2 Analog I/Q Output
The differential output of the R&S SMJ provides symmetrical signals for differential
inputs of DUTs without the need of additional external electric network.
The operating point of the inputs can be set by a definable DC-voltage (bias). In addi-
tion an offset between inverting and non-inverting output can be set to balance a differ-
ence of the best operating points.
The equipment options for the basic unit (R&S SMJ with frequency option R&S SMJ-
B10x) include the option R&S SMJ-B13 (Baseband Main Module) and the option
R&S SMJ-B16 (Differential Output) for "I/Q Out...".
Option R&S SMJ-B16 (Differential Outputs) cannot be fitted together with options
R&S SMJ-B81 (Rear Panel Connectors), because they use the same connectors.
Optimize I/Q Signals for RF Output
Activates/deactivates optimization of level accuracy and imbalance for RF Output.
Level accuracy and imbalance can be either optimized for RF output (active) or for dif-
ferential outputs (not active).

I/Q Output Type
Selects the type of output. The analog outputs can be operated in "Single Ended"
mode or "Differential" (non-inverted) mode. The menu changes depending on the
selected output mode
