Removing a Drive from an Array or Expansion Module
To remove the failed hard drive from a DXi6900-S Array module (RBOD) or Expansion module (EBOD):
WARNING:
DO NOT replace a drive until determining its status. A drive with an impending failure or in
optimal status needs to be put into a failed state before removal. Failure to do this may cause issues
with the DXi6900-S system (see
Failing a Non-Critical Fault (NCF) or Optimal Hard Drive on
).
